Barbara Bridges, HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
I have worked in the medical profession since I was 19 years old. I’ve had jobs ranging from radiographer to radiation therapist. In September of 2012, I started the last job I hope I ever have — saving hearing lives, with the best company I have ever worked for, NewSound Hearing. Who would have thought that this could be so rewarding, and bring such joy to my life? I love getting to know my patients and their families. So many of them have such interesting backgrounds. My favorite aspect of my job is explaining a patient’s hearing loss to not only them, but to their loved ones. They are not my patients — I consider them friends.
Amanda Wilson is an Audio Technician. Amanda is originally from Paradise, TX and moved to Rockport, TX in 2017. Amanda began working in the hearing industry in 2019 and was drawn to the profession because she loves the one on one, she gets to have with her patients.
What Amanda loves most about saving hearing lives is hearing how the devices have improved our patient’s everyday life. Amanda strives to help every patient adjust well to their new hearing life in her everyday work.
Outside of saving hearing lives, Amanda loves hobbies such as spending time with her husband and two kids going to the beach and fishing.
Patient Services Coordinator
I started working for NewSound Hearing Centers in July of 2013. I now have six plus years in the medical field. I strongly believe that hearing helps connect us to our world. When you walk into our office, we want you to feel at home. We strive to give you the best care! I believe that every person that comes into our doors has his or her own hearing story. What gives me great joy is knowing that I helped connect a patient to his world through the gift of hearing.
Always very professional and welcoming when you arrive. Always on time, hardly ever have to wait, unless the person in front of me has a problem. Work to make my heating better. I enjoy coming to my appointment. There a great team.Peggy Ennen, on Google
The staff is really nice and courteous. They have the knowledge of professionals in the workplace. Awesome explanation of what they were doing in the exam room and the hearing booth. I would recommend them to everyone I know.Brian Kilough, on Google

Love this place!!!! Doctor B is great. She has helped my husband so much on his hearing loss, but also helped him to understand the positive effect wearing his hearing aids can have on slowing down his memory loss . Her patience with him is the best. All the Staff...Ginger Garner, on Google
